Pipe Dreams grew out of my ongoing interest in the minor structures that shape our everyday environments, and the experiences associated with just happening across them by chance. I always loved the work of Bernd and Hilla Becher, but their cataloguing of neutral industrial forms is not what I am chasing. I'm asking how these pipes support our comforts, our connections, and our dreams, while remaining largely unvenerated. Pipe Dreams is a way of bringing them, briefly, to mind.
